Payroll on schedule, deductions done right.

From your first employee to a growing team, we run payroll, calculate CPP, EI and income tax deductions, keep remittances on track and prepare year-end slips — so your people get paid correctly and your records stay clean.

This is for you if

  • You’re hiring your first employee and don’t know where to start.
  • You pay yourself a salary from your corporation.
  • You run payroll yourself and worry about remittance dates.
  • You need T4s, T4As or a Record of Employment prepared.

Why it matters

Payroll has the least room for error.

Employees notice every mistake, and source deductions are held in trust for the government. Late or incorrect remittances can lead to penalties quickly.

Process

How it works

  1. 01

    Set up

We set up your payroll account, pay schedule and employee profiles in payroll software.

  2. 02

    Each pay period

You confirm hours or changes; we process the run and send stubs.

  3. 03

    Remit

We calculate remittances and remind you before each due date.

  4. 04

    Year-end

We prepare T4/T4A slips and summaries and reconcile payroll to the books.

Preparation

What we’ll need from you

  • Your payroll program account (RP) number, or we help you open one
  • Employee details and TD1 forms
  • Hours, salary changes and bonuses each period

Documents are shared through a secure portal once we work together — never through the website form.

Good to know

Remittance timing
Most small employers remit source deductions by the 15th of the month after they are deducted, though some employers have different schedules.
Slip deadline
T4 and T4A slips and summaries are generally due by the last day of February.

Questions

Payroll: common questions

I only pay myself. Do I need payroll?

If your corporation pays you a salary, yes — source deductions and a T4 apply. If you take dividends instead, payroll may not be needed. We can help you understand the difference.

Which payroll software do you use?

We work with common Canadian cloud payroll tools and choose based on your size and existing accounting software.
