T1 · Tax filings

Personal tax, prepared with the full picture.

Employment income, a side business, a rental unit, investments, a family — we prepare your T1 return carefully, look for the deductions and credits you are entitled to, and explain what changed from last year.

This is for you if

  • You have more going on than a single T4.
  • You are self-employed or a sole proprietor and report business income.
  • You earn rental income from a property or a basement unit.
  • You own an incorporated business and need your personal return coordinated with it.
  • You have unfiled returns from previous years.

Why it matters

Most personal tax mistakes are omissions.

A missed slip, an expense never claimed, a rental cost recorded in the wrong year. Personal returns get complicated quietly as life changes.

We start with a short intake about what is new, so nothing important is left out.

Process

How it works

  1. 01

    Intake

A short questionnaire about what changed this year: jobs, moves, family, property, business.

  2. 02

    Documents

You share slips and receipts securely. We tell you if anything looks missing.

  3. 03

    Prepare & review

We prepare the return and walk you through the result.

  4. 04

    File

Once you approve, we file electronically and send you a copy.

Preparation

What we’ll need from you

  • Your slips (T4, T4A, T5, T3, T5008 and similar)
  • Last year’s notice of assessment
  • Business or rental income and expense records
  • Receipts for deductions and credits you plan to claim

Documents are shared through a secure portal once we work together — never through the website form.

April 30

Questions

Personal tax (T1): common questions

Can you guarantee a refund?

No one honestly can. Your result depends on your income, deductions and credits. What we can do is prepare the return carefully and make sure you are not missing anything you are entitled to.

I haven’t filed for a few years. Is that a problem?

It is fixable. We prepare the outstanding years in order and explain any penalties or interest that may apply.

Do you prepare returns for my whole family?

Yes, and it often helps — some credits and benefits depend on how family returns are coordinated.
